Candidates nominated by Individuals/Organizations via reference letters are required to register an SIU Prize account and submit the required application documents via the registered account. This is only allowed if Individuals (Professors, scientists, experts working in areas of expertise related to the fields of the SIU Prize) or Organizations (Government agencies, diplomatic missions, overseas Vietnamese organizations, overseas Vietnamese student associations, universities, hospitals/medical centers, academies, research institutes/centers, science and technology academies, scientific associations/networks, corporations/enterprises, innovation incubators…) do not register an account on the SIU Prize nomination portal and update the required information concerning the nominated Candidates.
Step 1: Please follow https://siuprize.org/nomination/sign-up and select “Nomination by Reference Letter”.
Step 2: Fill in the required fields and click REGISTER.
Step 3: Upon receiving an email from the SIU Prize Organizing Committee, please click the link provided to verify your registration and to be automatically directed to “Nominee Information” page.
Step 4: Fill in the required fields, including:
★ You may click either NEXT / PREVIOUS to move between different categories of information. By clicking either of the buttons, all filled-in fields are automatically saved.
★ Should you wish to delete any saved information, click DELETE and then CONFIRM. By clicking either SAVE, NEXT, or PREVIOUS, your information is automatically saved.
★ Please submit both PDF and Word versions of “Doctoral Thesis Abstract/Full Doctoral Thesis” and “Science Résumé”.
★ For “Proof of Origin”, you may submit either a PDF file or a JPG/JPEG/PND image.
★ For any other documentation proof, only PDF files will be accepted.
Step 5: Click COMPLETE again to save the input information. You can change your information before the nomination deadline. Once the nomination is closed, all input information is locked from editing.
